It is 10th December 2024, a year since our Eco Church Gold award assessment day (14 Dec 2023) The men came to put the solar panels on our church. We already had one row on the church hall put up when the church was built 8 and a half years ago. These new ones will be more efficient. We also hope to link into the Settle Energy Project Here are the panels waiting in the Garden Room ready to be put up Carrying one of the panels across the garden There will be 24 panels all together Looking up The top row is the windows in the church roof Looking down onto the garden from the scaffolding Now we are waiting for the lawyers to sort out permission to dig a hole in our tarmac to lay an extra electricity line to the road.
